Considered one of the best hosta for gold and green foliage, 'Paul's Glory' (Plantain Lily) is also very interesting variegated hosta whose leaf color changes throughout the season. It forms an attractive, dense mound of ovate, heart-shaped leaves, which emerge in spring with a wide chartreuse splash in their center surrounded by blue-green margins. By early summer, the leaf center turns bright golden-yellow with dark green edges. Trumpet-shaped pale lavender blooms appear from mid to late summer, rising on scapes 40 in. long (100 cm). Quite large, this hosta adds a dramatic impact in the shade garden and appears to be more slug resistant than other hosta varieties.
- Recipient of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society.
- Easy grower, Hosta 'Paul's Glory' is a fairly large hosta, which grows 2 ft. tall (60 cm) and spreads 3-4 ft. (90-120 cm).

- Perfect for the shade garden, mixed with other perennials in bed and borders, city gardens, cottage gardens or containers. Great for edging, banks and slopes, as a groundcover or underplanting shrubs and roses.
- Watch for slugs and snails which could damage the attractive foliage.
- Cut off the stems after blooming to encourage the plant's growth. Discolored leaves should be trimmed back to the ground.
- Propagate by division in early spring or late summer.
- Toxic to dogs, toxic to cats, toxic to horses.
