Hosta Ben Vernooij (Plantain Lily)

Hosta 'Ben Vernooij' (Plantain Lily) is a medium-sized, clump-forming perennial forming a compact mound of thick, heart-shaped, blue leaves with a wide, feathery creamy-yellow margin. Racemes of large lavender flowers appear above the foliage during the summer. Good resistance to slugs thanks to the heavy substance of the leaves. • Grows up to 12 in. tall (30 cm) and 24 in. wide (60 cm).
