Dianthus Fire and Ice (Pink)

Very compact and free flowering, Dianthus ‘Fire and Ice’ (Pink) is a charming evergreen perennial with masses of delightfully scented, raspberry flowers, up to 1.5 in. across (4 cm), adorned with tiny light pink spots and white picotee edges. Blooming in early summer and early fall, the cheerful blossoms rise on short, stout stems above a low cushion of grassy, gray-green leaves.

  • Attracts bees and butterflies, but is ignored by deer and rabbits.
  • Deadhead to prolong flowering. Trim lightly after flowering to maintain a tight, compact mound.
