Campanula ‘Sarastro’ is a clump-forming perennial with elegant spires of large, bell-shaped, drooping flowers in a rich violet-purple shade. Blooming from early to late summer, the flowers are borne on upright leafy stems above a basal rosette of mid-green leaves.

Slowly spreading, this eye-catching Bellflower is perfect for rock gardens, cottage gardens and makes an effective ground cover.
- Grows in sturdy clumps, up to 18-24 in. tall and wide (45-60 cm). Stems may need to be staked.
- Thrives in full sun or part shade, in average, medium, well-drained soils. Prefers part shade in warmer climates. Needs regular moisture!
- Ideal for beds, borders, underplanting shrubs and roses, cottage gardens and containers. Excellent as cut flowers
- Easy to grow, virtually disease and pest free, this low care perennial is also rabbit resistant.
- Cut back after flowering.
