Phalaenopsis- Moth Orchids

Phalaenopsis (Moth Orchids) is a large genus of usually epiphytic orchids (growing on trees). They are among the most popular cultivated orchids and thousands of hybrids have been made throughout the years. The plants are particularly attractive, with oval, fleshy leaves and some species are sweetly fragrant. The inflorescences range from short with few flowers to very branched floriferous stems. The flowers are generally long-lasting, making moth orchids the most popular orchid pot plants.
