Primula Belarina Cream (Primrose)

Very floriferous and vigorous, Primula ‘Belarina Cream’ is a short-lived, semi-evergreen perennial forming a rosette of bright green leaves, topped with sturdy stems bearing large, fragrant, cream, double flowers. Blooming profusely from early to late spring, the upright-facing blooms look great at the front of borders or in containers.

  • This plant is very versatile and can be used in beds and borders, cottage gardens, city gardens, or in containers. Perfect for underplanting shrubs and roses.
  • A low-maintenance plant (cut back after flowering). Watch out for pests such as aphids, vine weevil, slugs, leaf and bud eelworms, leaf-mining flies, and glasshouse red spider mite. May be subject to leaf spot, primula brown core, and gray molds.
  • Propagate by division in the fall or after flowering.
