  • A remarkably low-maintenance plant that is also pest and disease free, this excellent performer is highly versatile and can be used in many situations: in the front of the perennial border, in rock gardens, or in naturalistic plantings. It is also great for edging beds or paths and even as a ground cover!
  • Hardy, it typically grows in a bushy mound, 9-18 in. tall (22-45 cm) and wide 12-18 in. wide (30-45 cm) in average, dry to medium, well-drained soils and thrives in full sun to part shade.
  • A dry soil lover, it is very drought tolerant.
  • Deer and rabbit resistant but irresistible to butterflies
  • Shear flower spikes after flowering to encourage new blooms. Seeds are sterile, therefore propagation should result from division.
