Geum rivale Leonards Variety (Water Avens)
A moisture-loving plant, Geum rivale ‘Leonard’s Variety’ (Water Avens) is a compact, clump-forming perennial boasting flared, semi-double, coppery-pink flowers, 1.5 in. across (4 cm), from late spring to late summer. Borne at the tip of long, upright, reddish-brown stems, they rise enthusiastically above the downy foliage of large, bright green, lobed basal leaves.
