Fuchsia Coachman

Free flowering, award-winning Fuchsia 'Coachman' is a bushy deciduous shrub with exquisite single flowers adorned with pale salmon pink sepals delicately tipped with green. Held slightly down from horizontal, they contrast beautifully with the vermilion corolla. Blooming profusely from early summer until frost, the blooms stand out against the foliage of light green leaves. Attractive to bees and hummingbirds, this flowering shrub makes a very attractive specimen plant in patio containers, summer borders or baskets.

• Grows up to 18 in. tall (45 cm) and 24 in. wide (60 cm).
• A full sun to part shade lover, this plant is best grown in moist, fertile, well-drained soils. Provide a deep winter mulch and shelter from cold drying winds.
• Perfect for containers.
• In early to mid-spring cut back the previous year's flowering stems to within one or two buds of the older woody framework. Also remove any thin, weak or dead growth. This stimulates development of strong new growth on which flowers will be produced in late summer.
• Propagate by softwood or semi-hardwood cuttings
