Cornus / Dogwoods
Originating mostly in northern temperate areas, Cornus can be deciduous shrubs or trees, or creeping, woody-based perennials. While they all offer attractive flowers and foliage, some have spectacular fruit, brightly colored young stems, brilliant fall colors or striking winter bark. It is a delight to look at them, sparkling brightly as if they were winking at you.
