Echinacea purpurea Rubinglow (Coneflower)

Echinacea purpurea 'Rubinglow' is an outstanding short-stemmed variety of Coneflower with big, heavily petaled, brilliant magenta flowers surrounding dark brown central cones. Standing out, this sun-loving perennial is considered as first choice by many gardeners. An early bloomer, this great-looking perennial has a compact habit and shines in the garden from early to late summer, sometimes with additional sporadic bloom until frost. Perfect for perennial borders, prairies and cottage gardens.

• Grows up to 30 in. tall (70 cm) and 16 in. wide (40 cm).
• Thrives in full sun in average, dry to medium moisture, well drained soils. Tolerant of drought, heat and humidity.
• Perfect choice for beds and borders, prairies and meadows, wildflower gardens or cottage gardens.
• Excellent as cut flowers. If flower heads are not removed in the fall, the blackened cones will be visited by birds that feed on the seeds.
