Echinacea Leilani (Coneflower)

Echinacea 'Leilani' (Coneflower) is a tall perennial boasting a profusion of golden yellow daisies adorned with a greenish-bronze central cone. Blooming from midsummer until frost, this elegant coneflower has a strong upright habit with well branched stems that do not require any staking. Winning accolades for its beauty and long bloom time, it is an eye-catching addition to perennial borders, prairies or cottage gardens. Great as a cut flower.

• Grows up to 36-40 in. tall (90-100 cm) and 30 in. wide (75 cm).
• Thrives in full sun in average, dry to medium moisture, well drained soils. Tolerant of drought, heat and humidity.
• Perfect choice for beds and borders, prairies and meadows, wildflower gardens or cottage gardens.
• Excellent as cut flowers. If flower heads are not removed in the fall, the blackened cones will be visited by birds that feed on the seeds.
