Rosa Roosemoor (English Rose)
Repeat-flowering and delightfully fragrant, English Rose Rosemoor is a very charming rose that produces perfectly rosette-shaped, small, double (41 petals), soft pink flowers, about 2.5 in. wide (7 cm). Deeper pink at their heart, the abundant blooms pale as they age and reveal a tiny green eye which provides a most pleasing effect.

Deeper pink at their heart, the abundant blooms pale as they age and reveal a tiny green eye which provides a most pleasing effect. Rich with a strong 'Old Rose' fragrance, with hints of apple, cucumber, and violet leaf, they are borne on a bushy, upright shrub that is very disease resistant. A very vigorous and free-flowering rose shrub that is also shade tolerant.
- Blooming in flushes from late spring until frost, this Rose is an excellent repeat bloomer.
- Its noteworthy qualities have earned it the Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society
- Grows up to 3-4 ft. tall (90-120 cm) and spreads 2-3 ft. wide (60-90 cm). An excellent choice for the front of beds and borders or as a flowering hedge. Spectacular when combined with the cool blue colors of salvia, nepeta, or lavender. Great in pots and containers too!
- Plant it where you will be able to enjoy its perfume daily: near a doorway, along a path, near your patio or deck. Excellent cut flowers.
- Best grown in full sun or part shade, in rich, fertile with adequate moisture, well-drained soils.
- Introduced in 2004, this rose is named after the beautiful R.H.S. garden in Devon in southwestern England.
- David Austin’s English Roses combine the flower forms and perfume of Old Roses with the color range and repeat-flowering habits of modern roses. As a Rose breeder, David Austin’s achievement is in marrying the romantic “English Rose” look with reliable garden performance, vigorous growth, full bushes, disease resistance, and prolific season-long bloom. Over 200 English Roses have been released since 1961, many of them receiving the highest rewards.
