Rosa Electron (Hybrid Tea Rose)

Noted for its mesmerizing color, Rosa Electron is a particularly luminous Hybrid Tea rose with very large, 5 in. across (12 cm), full (32-40 petals), high-centered, bright cherry pink flowers. Borne mostly solitary, the brilliant flowers exude a mild to strong, old rose, spice fragrance. They bloom continuously from spring to fall. A compact, bushy, well-branched shrub, armed with thorns and clothed in glossy, dark green leaves which provide an ideal backdrop for its summer-long floral display. One of the cleanest, hardiest and most intense pink roses available. Very disease resistant.

• Grows up to 4-5 ft. tall (120-150 cm) with a 2-3 ft. spread (60-90 cm).
• An excellent choice for beds and borders or containers. Great cut flowers.
• Best grown in full sun, in rich, fertile with adequate moisture, well-drained soils.
• Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
