Trillium / Wake Robins

Cherished by gardeners, Trilliums are North American and Asian native perennials with erect stems bearing a whorl of three leaves and one or more three-petaled flower appearing in their center. Trilliums typically bloom in spring when dozens of perennials and bulbs are available as companions, creating colorful combinations. They typically thrive in moist, woodland settings where rich, acidic soil is prevalent. Left undisturbed, they will gradually increase by rhizomes.
